Privacy Notice
Last updated 3 November 2026. This notice explains what Upjovo Careers collects, why, who processes it, and how to make a request.
1. Operator and contact
Upjovo Careers is operated by Saksham Kumar, Madhubani, Bihar, India. Contact sakshamkumar.me@gmail.com for privacy questions.
2. Information collected
Before applying, you sign in with Google through Supabase Auth. We receive and use the verified Google account email to confirm your identity and prefill the application email; we do not request access to Gmail, Drive, or other Google services. Supabase Auth processes account identifiers and sign-in/session data to provide authentication. The application sign-in ends automatically after 10 minutes. If you choose Save draft, application field values are kept in this browser tab for the rest of that sign-in session; uploaded files and consent checkboxes are not saved. The draft is cleared when you sign out, the session expires, or an application is submitted. Applications require your name, email address, mobile number, and Terms and Privacy consent. Applications also require your date of birth, city or location, gender, role preference, experience, skills, availability, applicant photo. A resume or supporting file may also be submitted, but is not required. Instagram and other social or portfolio links, and your written introduction, may be left blank. JPG, PNG, WebP, and PDF uploads are accepted up to 50 MB per file. We also store consent versions and acceptance time, generated application number, submission time, status, and status message. Contact enquiries collect name, email, topic, message, status, staff note, submission time, notice version and consent time.
Status checks send the application number and email to verify a record and do not create a new record. The rate limiter processes a network address and stores its one-way hash. Vercel, Supabase, and Google may process request, account, or browser metadata needed to host, secure, and authenticate the service, subject to their service terms and privacy notices. Do not submit passwords, government IDs, financial or health information.
3. Purposes and sharing
We use information to review candidates, contact applicants, manage recruitment, answer enquiries, show application status, prevent abuse and maintain the service. Records and files are stored through the Upjovo Supabase project in ap-south-1; public pages are hosted by Vercel. Google is used only when you choose Google sign-in; its sign-in page opens as an external redirect, and Google's own privacy terms apply. These providers process information to deliver the service. Authorized Hiring Desk users can access records, and uploaded file links expire after a short period. We do not sell applicant data or use it for advertising. Careers application and Hiring Desk pages do not embed analytics. Separately, the public marketing website loads Google Analytics 4 on its Home, Work, Services, Why Us, About, Contact, and Start a Project pages. It is not loaded on Careers forms, the Hiring Desk, Studio panel, or private client tracker. Google Signals and advertising personalization are disabled, and this setup is not used for advertising. See the Cookie Policy for details. WhatsApp is an external link; its own terms apply if you open it. Separate legacy Google Sheets/Drive records are not synchronized with this portal.
4. Retention and requests
The Hiring Desk supports manual deletion of applications and their uploaded files, and manual deletion of enquiries. Automatic expiry is not configured. Records are kept while needed for recruitment, responding to enquiries and applicable recordkeeping, then deleted when no longer needed. You can request access, correction or deletion at the email above. We may verify your identity before acting. Upjovo should set and operationalize a fixed retention schedule before launch.
5. Security and choices
Controls include server-side database access, row-level security, private file storage, short-lived staff sessions, expiring signed file links, rate limits and upload type/size checks. No online service can guarantee absolute security. You may withdraw consent by contacting us; this does not undo prior processing and could prevent us from considering an application or replying to an enquiry.
6. Eligibility
Do not submit an application on behalf of a child. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us so we can review it.
7. Applicable law
We aim to handle information under applicable Indian law. The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 have phased commencement dates. The official commencement notification stages provisions over time; not all substantive provisions were in force on this notice date. This is a service description, not legal advice or a claim that the site meets every legal requirement. We will update the notice as the law and service change.
